DENIS GRIFFIN
Growing up in Kerry, South Ireland Denis was a major competitor in the pony racing scene and scored his first job with John O’Connor at Ballylinch Stud, Ireland where he covered all aspects of the farm but specialised in pre-training and breaking in. With a stint in the breaking in team at Aga Khan Stud, Ireland, he then ventured to Australia where he then became the Yearling Manager of Arrowfield Stud for 8 years. Whilst here Denis was prepping drafts of some of the finest bloodstock which went to top all of the major sales in Australia. In 2019, he transferred to Vinery Stud as Yearling Manager before 3 short years later Glenbeigh Farm was founded.
KERRY STEPHENS
Growing up in the pretty districts of Cornwall, South West England, horses and ponies have always been a major aspect of Kerry’s life from a very young age. In 2001 Kerry attended Hartpury University, Gloucester which is incidentally next door to the David Redvers-run Tween Hills Farm. Getting her first job in Redvers stable, this is where Kerry found her love for the thoroughbred industry and hasn’t looked back, with Redvers remaining a strong mentor throughout her life. In January 2010, she made the move to Arrowfield stud with the initial plan to spend 6 months, but over 12 years later that plan went out the window and she had made her way up to Arrowfields Operations manager. It has been Kerry’s lifelong dream to own and manage her own farm and the founding of Glenbeigh Farm in 2022 has made it a reality.
